Learn how to size, frame, and display the Hades 'There Is No Escape' print. Find decision rules for placement, framing, and more.
Quick Answer
For the Hades 'There Is No Escape' print, choose an 11" x 17" frame with a mat that complements the artwork, and hang it at eye level in a spot where you can appreciate the details.
Why Size Matters for This Print
The print comes in a fixed 11" x 17" size. This is a versatile dimension that fits well in standard frames, but it also means you need to think about how much wall space you want it to occupy. If you're placing it in a small nook, 11" x 17" is perfect; for a larger wall, consider grouping it with other art or using a mat to increase its visual footprint.
Framing Considerations
Framing protects the premium archival paper and enhances the artwork. A simple black or dark wood frame can make the poster pop, while a white frame can give it a modern, gallery look. Using a mat adds breathing room and can help the print fit into standard 16" x 20" frames if you prefer a larger overall size.
Display Ideas for Gaming Rooms
This Hades poster is a striking addition to any gaming setup. Place it near your desk or console to add personality. It also works well in a hallway or above a shelf. Since it's a timed edition, displaying it prominently shows off a piece that won't be available forever.
Decision Rules for Sizing & Display
- Choosing a Frame Size: If you want a standard frame, go with 11" x 17" without a mat. For a larger look, use a 16" x 20" frame with an 11" x 17" mat opening. Measure your wall space before buying a frame to ensure the final size fits.
- Mat Color: Use a white or off-white mat for a clean gallery feel. A black mat can make the artwork feel more dramatic and moody. Choose a mat color that matches your room's decor and the poster's tones.
- Hanging Height: Hang the center of the print at eye level, about 57-60 inches from the floor. In a gaming room, you might adjust slightly lower if you're usually seated. Test the height by holding the frame against the wall before committing.
- Placement: Display it in a spot with indirect light to avoid fading. Avoid direct sunlight or high-humidity areas like bathrooms. Consider using UV-protective glass for extra protection.
- Grouping with Other Art: Pair it with other gaming art prints of similar size for a cohesive gallery wall. Keep at least 2-3 inches between frames. Plan the layout on the floor before hanging to avoid mistakes.
